He is now living in Portland, Oregon after receiving an MFA in Art from the University of Oregon in 2022. Trained in traditional craft techniques, Stoll completed the Core Fellowship at Penland School of Craft (North Carolina) as well as the Open Studio Residency at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts (Maine). Stoll is currently working on a manifesto titled the future is flaccid, which proposes flaccidity as a radical mode of embodiment and a tool to queer and undermine what he calls phallic masculinity. Related work explores the physicality of flaccidity attempting to manifest this way of being into existence through sculpture, performance, and participatory projects.
